Description:
Dr. Weil Healthy Kitchen Stainless Steel Blender - Model 9803 by Spring Switzerland
The Healthy Kitchen Two Speed Stainless Steel Blender is a powerhouse that can crush ice, make drinks, puree vegetables, make salad dressings, puree hot soups and sauces and help in the preparation of any other recipes that call for a blender.
The 48 ounce heavy duty glass container allows you to do large recipes and make several drinks at a time. The stainless steel blades are strong enough to crush ice without the addition of water. It‘s easy to use, two speeds and a pulse is all you need, we have eliminated the need to figure out what speed to use for each blender task. Simply use low for thin mixtures, or liquids and high for thicker more complex blending or when you want foam on your drink. The Pulse setting is perfect for crushing ice and hard items such as cheeses and spices. The food is thrown on and off the blades so that it comes into intermittent contact with the blades until the blending is completed.
The Dr. Weil's Healthy Kitchen Stainless Steel Blender has Low and High speeds, as well as a Pulse setting. Low Speed is a slow, less powerful setting. Use this speed for light weight mixtures. High Speed is a more powerful speed for heavier mixtures. Pulse is used for quick chopping and pre-blending.

Cover
Heavy duty plastic cover fits snuggly into the blender jar to prevent leakage. It is always used during blending.
Glass Jar
The large (48 ounce) heavy duty glass blender jar has cup measurements on the side which eliminates the need for additional measuring cups.
Silicone Gasket
The small black rubber gasket fits onto the blade assembly insuring a tight fit and no leakage.
Blade Assembly
This detachable stainless steel four blade assembly with silicon gasket is especially designed to enable you to do all your blending chores as well to crush and grind hard items such as ice, coffee and hard cheeses.
Base with rubber feet
The base houses a heavy duty 600 watt motor, which provides professional strength and performance. The rubber feet help to stabilize the base and keep it from moving when the blender is on.
Pulse Button
The black button above the Switch is the Pulse button. Press down on the bottom part of the button to activate the motor. Continue pressing the button in short pulsing spurts until the food is blended.
Off/ Hi/Low Switch
Check to see that the Switch is always in the OFF position before placing blender jar on the base. This is very important since the motor will start as soon as the container is placed on the base if the switch is NOT in the OFF position.
To turn the blender on to High, flip the switch into the up position.
The middle position is the OFF position.
To turn the blender on to LOW, flip the switch into the down position.
Power Cord
The blender has a long cord with a polarized plug to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fully fit into the outlet, reverse the plug.
